Very Nice RaincoatJan 21, 2010
My daughter was finally about to wear out the hand-me-down raincoat she had been wearing all season, so we went in search of another. Not only is this one cute, but the lining makes it softer and more comfortable than the average raincoat without adding a lot of bulk (something she is against). We like the fun horse pattern as it appeals to the little girl in her without being too cutesy for me. The fit is great, the closures are nice, and the hood is appropriately sized. A good purchase overall.
As a side note, the cheapskate in me probably wouldn't have paid full price for it, but as part of a promotional purchase, we got back about half the purchase price, and that seemed like the right amount for me. I'm sure it is "worth" the extra money since it is such a nice jacket, but I have a hard time paying that much for a one-season (or at best, two) purchase.
