 Better options elsewhere for rain shoesJul 16, 2010
I bought these shoes thinking it would be a nice change from rain boots and/or duck shoes. The shoes were very snug and not very comfortable to me. I would definitely say go up a size if you decide to buy these shoes. It wasn't easy putting them on and taking them off. I think these shoes would still be hard to put on and take off even going up to a higher size. You can see by the picture that there is a very narrow opening to get your feet in and out. I sent them back and ordered some rain shoes by Sperry Top-siders.

I walk my dog everywhere in every kind of weather. My winter boots had had it and I needed something that was shorter and could be worn with shorts as well as long pants. And, of course, they needed to be water proof! They are everything I was looking for. Glad people noted getting the bigger size. I went a size larger and they are perfect.

I was looking for a short pair of rubber boots that were easy to put on, comfortable to stand in for long periods of time, and that were okay to wear without socks. This pair of Bogs boots fit my needs perfectly. By the way, I also own a pair of tall rubber Bogs boots, and I love them, too. I wear the short ones in the summer and the tall ones in the winter, to do my gardening and other outdoor chores.

I thought the shorter version of these were hard to get on -- these are impossible. Not worth the 20 minutes it takes to get one on. If you've had any type of foot problems or have a wide foot, don't even bother with these. Sent them back -- couldn't even get one on. It WAS a good workout for 20-30 minutes though.

Fantastic! Have the boots for winter. They are terrific. Shoes for spring, are the best. Highly recommend.
